At the conclusion of this session, the participant will be able to:
- Recognize when to use computed tomography.
- Identify the benefits vs. risks of using contrast.
- Identify how computed tomography works.
- Identify features of common pathology such as cancer, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, pleural effusion/empyema, etc.

Dr. Sarah McIsaac
Sarah MacIsaac is a staff respirologist with a focus on interstitial lung diseases. She completed her undergraduate degree in Connecticut, her medical school at McMaster, her internal medicine and respirology training at McGill and her interstitial lung disease fellowship at McMaster. Her areas of interest include interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, and reducing barriers to care for patients- specifically those who identify as LGBTQ2S+. She is originally from Nova Scotia and is a mediocre surfer who is hoping her daughter will also love surfing.
